Provide program planning and project management for all Public Health programs within the Larner College of Medicine, and assigned Professional and Continuing Education (PACE) credit and non-credit programs and courses, including online. Work with Public Health Program Manager, PACE program developers, and team colleagues, faculty and campus departments regarding feasibility, market research, course enrollments and assessment, budgeting and planning. Project manage PH and identified PACE programs, including develop planning timelines, determine and schedule internal and external resources, plan aspects of instructional documentation, process and support. Project manage tasks/requirements related to MPH ongoing accreditation requirements and re-accreditation process. Oversee logistical coordination, program delivery, information flow and support services. Work with stakeholders to establish project scope, budget and timeline; work with marketing team on identifying the audience and marketing initiatives. Work with Instructional Designers to produce high-quality online course content based on defined curriculum requirements, objectives and competencies. Support faculty/instructors in online program set up within learning management system and instructional media, documentation and logistics. Adhere to standards and protocols to ensure consistent quality in online courses. Provide logistics coordination and support in the following areas: faculty/instructor/TA recruitment, appointment, and reappointment process; coordinate, schedule and coordinate PH meetings and communication flow; administer course evaluation process; assist with collection and coordination of program applications. Reports to Public Health Program Manager.
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field and two to four years related experience to include working with professionals in academic program planning and administration in higher education setting required. Effective project management and written, oral and interpersonal communication skills required. Attention to detail required. Knowledge of marketing strategy and planning; experience with online learning technology and learning management systems (e.g. Blackboard); web tools and sales practices using CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce) required. Competency with data reporting, budgeting, project management tools, and general software required. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in team environment required.
Previous experience with academic program administration, student services, and program accreditation are desired.
