Weatherford is looking for a highly motivated individual to join an exciting engineering group within the Artificial Lift division. The Product Engineer is responsible for the design of new products, makes improvements to existing products, review application and manufacturing results for product improvements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs complex tasks and fulfills broad responsibilities where required outcomes are defined, but methods and procedures may vary based on precedent or professional judgment.
Confers with the manager on unusual matters.
Coordinates the work of others on projects and may assign work to and assist less experienced professionals or support staff.
Support manufacturing activities by reviewing non-conformances and setting disposition accordingly.
Support Product Line and application engineers with pump sizing for difficult/new applications.
Develop and implement new processes as needed.
Develop/update work instructions/procedures.
Manage projects from requirements gathering to completion.
Minimum 3+ years experience in a similar role
Bachelors of Engineering is required
Expertise in statistical analysis.
Experience with Progressing Cavity Pump is considered an asset.
Understanding of applications and failure modes
