We are seeking a Creative Content Associate Curriculum Developer to join our team and assist Curriculum Developers in developing effective training content and products using appropriate instructional methods that best suit the content and the learner and aid in successful knowledge transfer. Projects will consist primarily of stock product manipulation and content management to fulfill Custom Solutions/Customer Content requests. This includes developing low- to medium-complexity level deliverables in line with the schedule, cost, and quality expectations.
Contributes to cradle-to-grave development of training curricula and incorporates feedback from contributors (internal and external). Works closely with team leadership to maintain the existing training product line.
Actively participates in project kickoffs, content meetings, reviews, and other project-based meetings as needed.
Contributes to the design and development of content-based curricula used in online training, Instructor Led Training (ILT,) and Blended learning; including but not limited to: eLearning courses, trainer guides, employee handbooks, training publications, classroom exercises, video scripts, and training aides.
Acquires expertise in eLearning techniques and technology.
Provides consultation and/or leadership within project teams in collaborating on curricula for print, electronic, and web-delivered training products.
Maintains print and digital media to ensure the content reflects the most relevant materials, regulations, and best practices.
2+ years in a curriculum and instructional design related role (internships may be included).
1+ year of experience building and maintaining training materials (internships may be included) preferred.
Experience with the development and maintenance of related products a plus (i.e. print, training, web) preferred.
Prior project management experience preferred.
Bachelor's Degree in adult education/training, instructional design, or a related field.
In lieu of Bachelor's Degree, 4+ years of combined education and closely-related experience (in addition to experience listed below) may be considered.
Must be proficient in the use of a PC and MS Office Suite.
Experience with Articulate Storyline or Studio, Captivate, Lectora, Adobe Creative Cloud, or other similar eLearning development software.
Experience with eLearning training programming specifications and requirements (SCORM, AICC, Tin Can API) and how they interface with Learning Management Systems is preferred.
Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere, Photoshop, and After Effects) is preferred.
Knowledge of eLearning course creation and design preferred.
Familiarity with adult learning and instructional design principles.
Skilled in script writing.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with project teams and independently when necessary.
Ability to handle multiple projects with tight deadlines simultaneously.
Ability to demonstrate strong time management skills.
Ability to handle projects and make decisions independently.
Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams of internal and external project contributors.
Work is performed primarily in a standard office environment. Work involves operation of personal computer equipment for extended periods of time. Occasional travel to offsite offices, customer sites and/or industry and training events may also be required, depending on assignment.
