Experienced Central Office Technician – Nehalem, Oregon
Nehalem Telecommunications (RTI) seeking experienced, qualified Central Office Technician. Must possess experience in installation of Adtran, Calix, MetaSwitch, Soft Switch etc…Ideal candidate is a self-starter, providing high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service skills and able to multi-task under pressure. Must be able to work with minimal supervision, but with good access to management and resources.
Qualifications of the Central Office Technician:
Minimum 3 years work experience, trade school and/or additional training a plus.
Extensive understanding of tools, test equipment and ability to use a computer to interface. Ability to read and interpret plans, rack drawings, and customer-provided work orders. Ability to work effectively with engineers and field technicians. Wage will depend on experience.
Must have a valid Oregon Driver's License and successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
