Regional Sales (2000244) – Remote (Mid-America Region)

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for achieving the regional sales and profitability goals. This role provides direction and leadership to the field regional staff while responsible for the customer satisfaction and market share within the Mid-America Sales Region, including but not limited to the following: MN., SD., ND.,WI., IL., IN., IA, MI., OH., WV., NE., CO., WY., UT., TX., OK.. You will perform all necessary sales and marketing activities for the Parking Facility and Sport Stadium markets, targeting product growth in such a manner as to facilitate project-oriented, and account specific sales. The scope of this position is regional with a preference for the stakeholder to be located within the stated sales region. A primary objective is to manage and grow business opportunities, influence product specification with architectural and engineering firms, establish contractor relationships, and deliver both top-and bottom-line sales in conjunction with executing strategic growth initiatives.

Educate and enhance the WBA value proposition as well as BASF as a total solutions provider.
Perform a comprehensive analysis of the territory and develop a sales territory strategy and annual sales operating plan. Outlining a sales and marketing strategy designed to promote expansion control system product growth.
Identify and research prospective customers in the Parking Structure, Stadium, Airport, Engineering, General Contracting and Specialty Contractor communities through networking, online research, business directories, industry associations, trade shows and corporate assets. Develop and implement plans for introduction to and relationship development with these potential customers.
Assist Marketing by providing voice of customer and competitive market information.
Develop and maintain relationships and presence with design professional to maximize specifications penetration as basis for design on construction projects.
Manage sales network of both Internal Sales Representatives or Independent Manufacturer’s Representatives.
Work in conjunction with internal WBA Engineers, Architects, Marketing and Manufacturing to ensure fulfillment of business opportunities, market influencing and sales results.
Support and adhere to all environmental, health and safety rules and regulations as described in the Environmental Health and Safety Rules and Regulations Employee Handbook as well as WBA specific safety guidelines and procedures. Make “safety” a way of life and always a part of your individual actions.
Complete all work in conformance with Company and Department ISO 9001-2000 and 14001 policies, procedures, and work instructions.
