PRIMARY PURPOSE:
The Mail Clerk is primarily responsible for the pickup and delivery of all school district mail.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or GED required
Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and be insurable
Dependable and punctual
Able to maintain confidentiality
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Picks up mail at post office and delivers it to central administration building.
Delivers mail from central administration building to all campuses.
Picks up all campus mail and delivers it to central building.
Delivers mail, board agendas and other information to Board members residences as needed.
Assists in the sorting and distributing of in-district mail.
Picks up and delivers legal information to and from school attorney's office.
Uses school vehicle for all deliveries.
Performs all duties in a safe manner to avoid injury to oneself and/or to others.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
