WellSky is seeking a top-notch Data Analyst with FHIR experience to join our Enterprise Data Platform team, a part of central technology group. You will join a team of top engineers enabling the exchange of healthcare data. You will have direct impact on the users of our solutions, mainly doctors, nurses, and others on the front lines of healthcare and community services. A day in the life?
You will be responsible for:
Defining and designing a FHIR compliant data system in compliance with existing WellSky platform services
Work closely with WellSky Business Units to adapt and adopt the data system
Mapping internal data to FHIR standards
Utilize nomenclatures and coding systems to describe data
Help to create interoperability capabilities for individual Business Unit solutions by providing guidance and consulting services in an enablement fashion.
Do you have what it takes?
Extensive experience in data analytics, data mining, and ability to reorganize data from source data set to a target data set
Direct experience in creation of FHIR Resources, especially in the context of USCDI
Strong command of SQL, especially in complex query joins
Collaborating with programmers, architects and engineering leadership to identify opportunities for process improvements, recommend system modifications, and develop policies for data governance.
Do you stand above the rest?
3-5 years direct, hands on experience using data analytics practices in a modern, in-production system.
Experience with FHIR, FHIR Servers, HIE's and Interoperability (CommonWell, Kno2)
Strong ability to understand existing data bases, schemas, and store procedures
