Eastern Research Group, Inc. (ERG) is a multidisciplinary environmental consulting firm offering a broad range of professional services in engineering, science, information technology, and communications. We are seeking bright, highly motivated entry-level environmental scientists, environmental engineers, and environmental health specialists to support a six-month project in Atlanta, GA, beginning in early 2020. Key position responsibilities include assisting with an investigation of exposure to environmental contaminants, analyzing large environmental data sets, compiling background information on locations of interest, and writing detailed technical reports.
BS or MS degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, environmental health, or related field
0 to 3 years of experience
Minimum 3.0 GPA. Candidates selected for interviews will be asked to submit transcripts.
Strong technical and scientific background in topics related to environmental science, environmental contamination, and exposure assessment
Excellent written/verbal communication skills and attention to detail
All hired employees must undergo a background check to obtain government security clearance prior to starting work. The position is expected to begin in January 2020, but the exact start date will depend on the time required to obtain clearance.
You must provide a cover letter and resume to be considered. Candidates must be able to work at least 20 hours per week for the duration of the project. Interviews will be conducted in Atlanta as applications are received.
