Responsibilities:
  • Management of subcontractors
  • Oversight and documentation of construction activities
  • Permit development and support
  • Collection of field data and evaluation of sample results including generation of tables and figures to illustrate collected data
  • Site characterization and technical evaluations regarding sources, transport, and fate of groundwater and soil contamination
  • Development of remediation alternatives evaluations and bid specifications
  • Remediation and/or waste water treatment design support
  • Determination of the potential chemical impacts and development of recommendations in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Requirements:
  • B.S. required or M.S preferred, degree must be in Engineering with environmental focus and coursework and/or experience in environmental or geo-engineering, and/or chemical fate and transport in the environment.
  • For recent college graduates or for those candidates that will graduate in 2020, an internship or cooperative education experience with an environmental consulting firm is preferred.
  • The preferred candidate will possess excellent communication and writing skills, with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple deadlines for multiple Project Managers.
  • Fluency with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.) is mandatory. Fluency with Python, gINT, LogPlot, MATLAB and/or ArcGIS or other civil and environmental engineering software applications is preferred but not required.
  • Candidate is expected to possess solid technical and problem-solving skills, must be willing to accept occasional short and long-term field assignments, and must have a valid driver's license.
  • Qualified candidate will be expected to interact with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
