Our Transportation Design team continues to grow and we are currently seeking an experienced Transportation Project Engineer to join our team in the Denver Office.
In this position you’ll be responsible for executing and leading Transportation design projects in collaboration with our design team. You will be the go to person on the design side as you team with our Project Manager to build our Denver expansion.
Qualified candidates must possess a proven track record for roadway design projects and delivering quality transportation related design projects on time and on budget. This is a key position within our firm in this region, and additional opportunities such as other leadership roles may also be available as you grow.

The Project Engineer acts as an authorized agent of the company and is responsible for the delivery of technically sound products that meet internal and external client expectations, on time and on/under budget. Makes significant design decisions with limited input by Project Manager for assigned projects. May assist with marketing and business development work and acts as Project Manager for assigned projects.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Must have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, and be professionally registered (P.E.) in one or more states in which HR. Green, Inc. conducts business (or have the ability to obtain such registration within six months of employment). Must possess five or more years of design/engineering experience and a demonstrated ability to act as an authorized agent of the company to sign engineering documents.
CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES
Must hold current registered Professional Engineer certification in one or more states in which HR. Green conducts business or have the ability to obtain such registration within six months of employment. In many cases the Project Engineer will possess additional professional, specialty certifications relevant to his/her field, and/or advanced education in a given discipline. The employee must be capable of driving/operating a motor vehicle for company business, and maintain a valid driver’s license in the state of residence.
