Position Location: Crystal City, VA
BCS, LLC is looking for the best qualified Project Developer to join our team to better serve our client in the areas of improving energy planning and management at military facilities. The successful candidate will work with a team of engineers and management professionals to provide support in assessing the viability of potential renewable energy project opportunities. They will make recommendations and advise on system development, improvements, optimization, or support efforts.
Provide key project support in assessing viability of potential renewable energy project opportunities as part of a team of engineers and management professionals
Responsible for managing, analyzing, and synthesizing information for key decision briefs and procurement actions
Develop large scale energy projects
Conduct and review installation energy project and security assessments
Collect, compile and analyze installation, regulatory, resource, and market background necessary to thoroughly assess and recommend energy project opportunities
Identify holistic installation energy security solutions and path forward to implement via private and/or appropriated funding
Provide support in the identification and development of a renewable and alternative energy security pipeline and portfolio, including resolving program execution issues, developing and coordinating communications, meetings, and other special projects
Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline
At least 6 years of experience in the following:
Development of large scale energy projects
Working with DoD installation organizations
Conducting and reviewing installation energy project and security assessments
Collecting, compiling and analyzing installation, regulatory, resource, and market background necessary to thoroughly assess and recommend energy project opportunities
Identifying holistic installation energy security solutions and path forward to implement via private and/or appropriated funding
Providing support in the identification and development of a renewable and alternative energy security pipeline and portfolio, including resolving program execution issues, developing and coordinating communications, meetings, and other special projects
Working cradle to grave acquisition projects as well as renewable energy projects
Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
