We are looking for a Plastics Engineer with manufacturing exposure, to work as part of the growing Plastics Disposables Team. This position will focus on the development of various plastic components, with an emphasis on medical products.
Develop assembly methods for disposable medical products
Maintain proper documentation including: Specifications, Build Plans, PFMEAs and process validation documents
Injection Molding. Including mold design review, mold-setting and process development
Review designs for manufacturability
Assist with material selection
B.S. in Plastics Engineering
Experience with various plastics assembly methods: welding (ultrasonic, laser, RF), bonding (adhesive, solvent)
Familiarity with GMP for medical devices
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must be a self-starter eager to contribute in a team environment
Must be detail oriented
