Paradigm Precision specializes in the manufacturing of complex fabrication and precision machined components for gas turbine engines. We serve customers around the world in commercial and military aviation, power generation, the marine industry, rotary wing and unmanned aerial vehicles.
Provide robust CNC programs to facilitate the manufacture to Turbine Engine components.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Document all of the set-up information.
Review the fixturing.
Provide support for fixture design as required.
Evaluate the new cutting tools.
Analyze drawings, sketches and design data of the parts to determine the dimension and configuration of the cuts.
Select the appropriate tools and machine speeds and feed rates according to the machine shop processes, part specifications and machine capabilities.
Write the instruction sheets and cutter lists to guide set-up and operation of the machine.
Optimize the existing programs.
Possess a thorough understanding of the quality control procedures.
Ensures that the quality control standards are maintained.
Maintain production schedules from the prototype run to production.
Provide shop floor support for the life of the program.
Strong GD & T understanding
Provide programming writing/support for various CNC 3, 4 and 5 axis milling operations
Participate in process development including but not limited creation of detailed router instructions, operation sheets, tool selection and fixture and tooling design
Sound project management skills and self-directed work ethic & time management to assure projects are completed on time
Daily interface with all manufacturing and quality functions. Requires good team building skills and working well with others.
Interface with customers and suppliers to resolve process and design issues. Effective written and verbal communications required.
Understand and ability to incorporate lean manufacturing in cell environment, quick change set-up, etc.

Ability to interpret complex blueprints and prepare a machining process
Experience in the major aerospace alloy groups (titanium, stainless, nickel and aluminum
Successful experience in CNC Programming and machine shop practices in the Aerospace industry preferred
Experience leading and solving problems to improve business process
Excellent written and oral communications skills
Must be a team player and have the ability to work in a cross functional environment
Education and/or Experience
Two Year Technical Degree
Minimum of two (2) years of related experience
Must have thorough knowledge of G code programming.
Good CAD solid modeling experience is important.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before the employees in the organization.
