Specialists in implementing real-time AI based materials tracking and decision support systems for the industrial, medical, food, and construction supply chains.
Small two-year-old real-time Artificial Intelligence (AI) software company seeks experienced dot Net programmer to become the lead programmer in developing real-time decision support systems for our clients. KnarrTek’s materials tracking and decision support software is currently used by customers in the manufacturing, construction, project engineering, food and medical supply chains.
We are seeking someone with a degree in computer science or equivalent, with applicable experience working in the role of a programmer-analyst. This person needs to have proven ability to write .Net code, including developing ASP.Net applications, and have the ability to write SQL Server stored procedures. This person also needs to have a good command of English and be able to interact successfully on a personal level with our client’s IT and operations management staff. Experience with developing AI applications not required but experience with real-time systems is a big plus.
More than anything, this person needs to have good conceptual ability (just like the rest of our team) and the ability to quickly learn new concepts and adopt new ideas. After training, this person will report to the Director of Support Services for KnarrTek whose team is responsible for implementing Decision Support Systems for our clients.
KnarrTek’s technology is the outcome of several decades of research by one of its founders (Dr.Peter Green) funded by DARPA, the USAF, NASA, and reinvestment of the profits from over 100 projects from manufacturing and other industrial materials tracking and decision support projects. In this position, you will be personally trained by Dr. Green in KnarrTek’s intelligent agent decision support technology, as you take increasing responsibility for implementing systems for our clients.
KnarrTek is currently a core four-person company, supported by a number of external consultants and sales people. KnarrTek is expected to grow rapidly in the near future as we add to our already-substantial base of happy customers.
While we have adopted a work-from-home model during the Pandemic, we are moving to a hybrid work model with offices in the Worcester MA area, so as to be centrally located for team meetings. It is anticipated that the successful candidate will spend at least two days a week, in these offices, during training, and thereafter one morning per week for our weekly review meeting with other members of the technology team.
KnarrTek has the potential for rapid growth. It is comparable to Palantir Technologies (www.Palantir.com with market cap $46 Billion) except that KnarrTek focusses on the mid- market supply chains rather than the Department of Defense and related high-end supply chains. KnarrTek also has much better technology (in our humble opinion), and, unlike Palantir, KnarrTek is profitable.
Up to now KnarrTek has been privately funded but is now seeking to raise its first A round of venture capital to fund improvements to its technology as well as increased sales and marketing activities. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to participate in the growth of the company through stock options as well as having the opportunity for rapid career advancement as the company grows.
This is an excellent opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a two-year-old venture, which aims to disrupt industrial supply chain management practices through the application of real-time Artificial Intelligence methods originally developed for the US Military.
Please see www.KnarrTek.com for more details about the company and its technology.
