Min High School diploma or equivalent Bachelor’s Degree (B.S) preferred in an engineering discipline
5-8 years experiences for grip level 7 or 8-10 experience for grip level 6 in field data collection & evaluation of Reciprocating Compressors, Integral and Separable Gas Engines in the Oil and Gas Industry
Must be proficient in the use of data collection tools including ADRE, WINROCK, Recip-Trap, Dynaprobe and software including RTWin, M-Health (preferred)
Must possess a high level of problem-solving skills; customer focused; excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to travel up to 70% domestic and international in to fulfill the responsibilities of this position.
Ability to work on offshore platforms
Ability to be transported by boat or helicopter over open water

The Field Service Engineer (Mechanical Analyst)is responsible for the execution of field data collection & evaluation activities of Reciprocating Compressors and Gas Engines in the Oil and Gas Industry
Performs Compressor performance testing, vibration analysis, Engine balancing On-site & from a remote office when applicable
Provides technical assistance and consultation to customer's installation, operations, and maintenance personnel.
Provides advanced troubleshooting and failure analysis
Produces empirical performance curves for compressor and internal combustion engines.
Supports the development and set-up of the Siemens Energy Remote Diagnostic System (RDS)
Performs active monitoring of units connected to the RDS system.
Maintain comprehensive activity records for customer daily inspection and approval.
Provides detailed site reports, highlighting actions needed by other Siemens Energy departments.
Develop equipment installation, maintenance, and overhaul schedules with customer input.
Observe on-site health and safety and work procedures.

The base salary range for this position in Fort Collins, Colorado is $82,518-$111,588 (Grip level 7) and $100,776-$136,068 (Grip level 6)
