Parametrix is seeking a Civil Engineer I to join our growing, outstanding team of award-winning professionals in our Bremerton office. We are conveniently located at the ferry terminal in an open, collaborative office. This position joins our larger team of engineers, scientists, and planners within the Puget Sound (Bremerton, Puyallup & Seattle).
WHO YOU ARE:
Experienced: Civil Engineering graduate with an interest in engineering design for site development, stormwater, and fish passage design projects. Experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D, MGSFlood, and WWHM at a project and/or classroom level and EIT certification preferred.
Talented: Experience and success in supporting, executing, and delivering tasks on engineering projects including concepts, designs, drawings, specifications, reports, running models, and preparing analyses and recommendations.
Relationship-focused: Strong interpersonal skills, collaborative approach, team player, and not afraid to ask questions and take risks. Driven to support and serve clients. We are seeking highly motivated candidates to work collaboratively with clients, agency staff, and co-workers, interested in coordinated design work with other disciplines.
Excel at Communication: Demonstrated ability to clearly express ideas and convey information in verbal and written form.
Curious and Passionate: You have a passion and a curiosity for a wide variety of project work that benefits both people and the natural environment that surrounds us as well as an entrepreneurial spirit.
