What you will do:
As our Software Engineer/Control Systems Programmer, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of software applications for the controls market. Your scope will include the development of control logic, data collection, operator interfaces, databases, and network architecture. This position works in our Plymouth, MN location.
The job:
Every day, your primary role will be creating programs and interfaces and configuring controllers and computers with PLC and OIT code development. You will work cooperatively with members of the Project Team as well as customers from the development stage through implementation to ensure software functionality and provide necessary end user training.
The skills you need:
To succeed in this role, you must have experience programming PLCs (Rockwell, Horner, Modicon, etc.), OITs (Rockwell, Maple Systems, C-More, etc.) and SCADA systems (Rockwell, Aveva InTouch, Inductive Automation). Exceptional customer relation skills will be essential as you have face-to-face interactions with both internal and external customers. A 4-year degree with 1-2 years’ experience are preferred.
