JOB SUMMARY:
The Software Engineer will work on all software development projects. They will have the opportunity to participate in the design, development, and implementation of a Warehouse Management System (WMS) from the ground up. They will be constantly looking to improve the effectiveness of the product with technology enhancements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work with business and WMS analysts to understand their needs and document requirements
Participate in the development schedules for project milestones, reviews, and internal milestone tracking
Recommend investments necessary to create competitive advantage through technology
Work with all functional organizations to understand business needs

QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience
Experience in with multiple database systems such as SQL Server, Oracle, Postgres, MySql, MongoDB, etc.
One or more of the following programming languages: C++, C#, Java, Node.js, JSON, PHP, Perl, Python, Ruby on Rails
Experience with integrated development environments (Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, Eclipse, XCode, WebSphere) targeting Windows, Linux, iOS, and/or Android public clouds (i.e. Azure, AWS, Oracle Cloud, etc.)

ADDITIONAL EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS
Some experience with hands on development for customer facing applications
Familiarity with cloud and hybrid infrastructures, designs, and migrations
Familiarity with SaaS based product development
Familiarity with Agile development environments
Familiarity with warehousing and distribution software
Excellent analytical skills
Attention to detail and the ability to complete tasks consistently and accurately
Strong time-management and organizational skills
High level of ethics and integrity
Prudence in management of confidential information
Ability to work independently on assignments by researching issues, analyzing data, providing appropriate updates to supervisors and proposing solutions to problems encountered
Excellent coordination and project management skills
Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
Strong oral and written communication skills
Professional presentation and demeanor
Must be able to successfully pass all preliminary employment requirements (i.e., background check and drug screen)
