Entry-Level Rotational Engineer

Position Summary:
We are seeking dynamic and resourceful entry-level Engineers (Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical) who possess a collaborative, team-player mentality to join our Rotational Engineer Program.

The Rotational Engineering Program is a 2-year program designed for entry-level Engineers and requires new hires to spend three, one year, rotations at the company’s various locations within the Refining and Logistics business units. As part of the program, the class of Rotational Engineers will present to their mentors, key leadership, and the engineering team (including the COO and President of Refining) a progress report on their specific projects. These projects could be related to many topics including but not limited to: steam efficiency, gasoline blending and inventory control, metallurgical choices, corrosion control, heater efficiency, metering techniques, pump station design, pipeline design, asset integrity, gathering systems, refined products terminals, and system optimization and reliability. At the end of the 2-year rotational program, rotational engineer participants will be assigned a permanent role at one of Delek’s offices or facilities.

Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Process Engineering)
Strong academic performance (GPA) in technical major of study
Proficiency with MS Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, particularly capable of establishing trust, respect, competence and confidence
Adaptable and innovative; comfort with ambiguity and navigating between strategic and tactical execution
Excellent organizational, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills with the ability to function effectively in a fast paced environment
Demonstrated leadership skills through noted projects and areas of study
Completed internships and/or co-ops within the oil & gas, refining, chemical manufacturing and processing industries are preferred but not required
Delek offers rotational and permanent assignments across all offices and plants owned by the company, so candidates should be flexible on geographical placement and must be able to relocate through the duration of the program.
