Coordinate with Management and other Stakeholders to implement new or modified products from design concept to production implementation. This includes, but is not limited to, the development and maintenance of requirements documents, schedules, manpower resource requirements and loading charts, budgets, risk, issues, opportunities, and other such management tools for the execution of assigned projects.
Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within aircraft design & manufacturing. Relies on the instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision.
Essential Job Functions:
Initiate, plan, execute, control and close assigned projects
Conduct meetings and group decision making process
Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to project team
Keep the Program Managers and others informed about project status and issues
Create program presentations & briefings
Develop and maintain project governing documents; Requirements, Statement of Work, Risk, Issues & Opportunity, Cost and Schedule.
Create and maintain integrated project schedules including coordination of resources
Maintains oversight of assigned projects to ensure they remain within scope, schedule and budget parameters
Track and report cost and schedule performance
Interface with vendors, ensuring necessary procurement of parts and materials for specific projects
Process owner for Change Control Effectivity Board (CCEB)
Provide data regarding nature/importance of change,
Validation of Effectivity Requests, and
Coordination with the all functions within the CCEB
Prepares technical reports
Administer project databases
Perform other related duties as required
BA/BS in business or STEM field and 3-5 years of related experience
2-3 years of project engineering/coordination experience
Degree in an Engineering or Business with Aeronautical/Aerospace discipline
General knowledge and skills associated with cross functional coordination in areas of design engineering, methodization, manufacturing planning, production control, supply chain management, manufacturing engineering, aircraft fabrication and assembly and quality management, testing and certification functions.
Requires comprehensive knowledge of Windows based computer programs such as Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
