Description of job responsibilities:
Manage tool builds from initial start through build, sampling and final delivery to customer.
Be the primary interface with the customer as it relates to design issues, engineering change issues, requested quotes and timing. You will also schedule and attend required mold samplings.
Internally you will direct and work with our management team, mold design and toolmakers to keep your assigned tool builds, engineering changes and repairs on schedule per our customers' needs. You will also interact and direct our outside suppliers of mold design, mold tryout and mold surface treatments.
Our Tooling/Project Engineers are responsible for maintaining all of our internal paperwork as well as any requirements by our customer such as MS Project timelines, updates, etc.
Candidates for this position should have a Bachelors degree in Engineering or possess a toolmaking Journeyman's card. Experience in the moldmaking/injection molding trade is a plus.
Candidate must be able to work independently, be organized and have the ability to interact with our customers and team members at a professional level at all times. Having computer skills for working with CAD data, web meetings and the following Microsoft products of Word, Excel, Access and Project are also key skills for this job.
