HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Packaging iconic brands – You’ll be supporting staff packaging engineers on medium to large projects involving retail and alternate channel package development, improved package designs, research, supply chain initiatives and cost savings projects. You will gain valuable knowledge within the packaging discipline and enhance your technical and scientific knowledge all while engaging with our Kellogg brands. #OwnIt
Test & Repeat – Interested in setting and following a plan from creation to completion? You’ll coordinate and lead plant test trials, perform and document package tests, and much more as an important contributor to our Kellogg team.
Think outside the box – Excited about finding innovative solutions that are aligned with our long-term business strategies in the packaging space? We are too. Get ready to work cross-functionally with our design teams to drive results.

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
Student pursuing B.S. or M.S. degree in a scientific in Packaging Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Design, Material Science, Graphic/Printing Science or related field
Minimum of 3.0 GPA (cumulative)
Excellent verbal, communication and presentation skills
Ability to demonstrate strong analytical skills
Available for a 3 month assignment (May 10 – July 30, 2021)
Anticipated graduation date cannot fall during the course of, or at the completion of, your internship. You must be continuing your education after the internship.
Ability to work independently or as a team
Leadership roles in school/volunteer clubs/organizations
Demonstrate critical thinking and problem solving skills
Humility and hunger to learn
Demonstrate ability to be a self starter
WHAT ELSE DO I NEED TO KNOW?
As part of the Kellogg Internship program, you will participate in a corporate onboarding orientation at our Kellogg World Headquarters in Battle Creek, Michigan (Cereal City, USA!). This event consists of executive exposure, previous intern panels, networking events, community activities and much more.
This paid internship requires a 3 month, full-time commitment starting May 2021. Relocation advising and sign-on bonus provided – and did we mention we have plenty of snacks? Travel may be required. The internship includes a Final Showcase event and presentation to functional leaders.
Please note – should the COVID-19 pandemic continue to impact the in-person work environment, our internship experience will be moved to a virtual platform for summer 2021.
