BAE Systems, one of the world's leading defense contractors and a stable Fortune 500 company, is hiring a Logistics Test Lead at our Sterling Heights site.

As the Logistics Test Lead, you will:
Understand and manage Technical Manual (TM) and vehicle configuration (associated with a released TDP changes).
Work with other project leads (diagnostics, troubleshooting, TM development, RPSTL, CM), content developers, maintenance commonality management, and maintainability engineering to leverage already existing tools and tasks from similar platforms.
With support of the Log Test Manager and program ILSM, plan and manage their programs Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) as it pertains to Validations, Log Demos, Supportability Assessments, Verification events, and associated milestones and deliveries; from metrics generation, to status reporting, to resource staffing, to material procurement, through daily readiness and closeouts.
Create required CDRL documents IAW contractual requirements and route through Log Test Manager and Program stakeholders for concurrence prior to submission; and provide 'lessons learned' to the internal community.
Serve as the programs logistics leadership during event execution with the US Government.
Fully understand the supportability requirements for the program they’re assigned to.

Typical Education & Experience
Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 4 years work experience or equivalent experience

Required Skills and Education
Strong experience in detailed planning and communication
Strong experience in understanding scope, and measuring progress
Strong understanding of MS Excel functions and formulas
Experience in MS Word, MS Powerpoint, and MS Outlook
Experience in Validations, Logistics Demonstrations, and/or Verifications of Log Products
Knowledge in AR 73-1, AR 700-127, and AR 25-30
Attention to details and great communication skills; both oral and written
Familiarity with Army and/or Marine Corps Ground-Combat vehicles
Possess Analytical and Critical Thinking skills

Preferred Skills and Education
Experience in MS Project and MS PowerPoint
Interest to pursue PMP certification
Familiarity with MIl-Std 40051 series
Familiarity with the Log Product Development process
