Continuant is a Managed Services Provider and Systems Integrator, offering world-class solutions for UC and AV systems. We are seeking a fulltime Nortel engineer to support one of our Enterprise healthcare clients in the Greenville, SC area. This role will be a full-time onsite position, working with a dedicated team, operating within the hours of 8am-5pm (M-F) and on call afterhours. There will be situations from time to time where you will be needed to assist with pre-planned projects and system maintenance.
Job Duties:

  • Assist in the design, installation, implementation and integration of site telecommunications systems, including SIP, VoIP, Networked based technologies. Working as a lead or team member leading projects, update the systems to accommodate technological enhancements.
  • Install, test and resolve problems on the Nortel CS1000 and CallPilot equipment
  • Assess and resolve complex situations in a timely and accurate manner
  • Make decisions independently and or in a team and execute those decisions
  • Provide business analysis – call workflow analysis
  • Perform complex data capture and analysis to diagnose/determine faults and then translate that back to Networking for resolution
  • Coordinate with Customer and Carriers/Central Office staff to troubleshoot and resolve problems that arise
  • Utilize designated customer ticketing system
  • Carry out a full range of technician functions and provide additional coverage as needed

Qualifications & Benefits
Qualifications:

  • Nortel – 10+ years experience supporting a large, complex Nortel environment, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Deep level understanding of the Nortel CS1000 and CallPilot platforms and how they are interrelated and operate
  • Proven experience with management/use programming /configuration on legacy Nortel PBX equipment
  • Virtual Machine (VM) concepts knowledge
  • Ability to perform complex packet captures and diagnose to determine faults
  • Willingness to be flexible, patient, and work to deliver an excellent customer experience
  • Exemplary written and verbal communication
  • Strong Problem-Solving skills
  • Attention to Detail
  • CCNA and Cisco experience strongly preferred

Pay: $72,000.00 - $84,000.00 per year
