As a software engineer in our product development department you will use your creativity and software engineering skills to help life scientists achieve landmark discoveries to improve people's lives around the world. Challenges will range from coding for sustaining and improving a broad range of laboratory instrumentation products to translating market needs into new features and products. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a knack for creating well-designed, high quality code that meets and exceeds customer’s expectations.
Understand and define software requirements. Engage in project planning, execution, verification and validation in an Agile environment.
Range of opportunities to develop applications for instrument control and data analysis, ranging from Windows apps in Visual C++ to Web apps in .NET, Angular JS and other modern frameworks.
Day to day includes participating in software design, code implementation, code reviews, and software testing.
Experience in writing software in languages including C++, .NET C#, Java, or Python
