What you can expect in a typical day
As an Area Contact Process Engineer in the Saint John Refinery, you will prepare basic plans, calculations and designs for our processes and units. You will collect data and conduct studies and surveys on our equipment and our processes. You will also investigate and analyze operational issues and opportunities in order to recommend solutions. You will have the opportunity to work in the Refinery to perform refinery technician duties as required to learn about refinery processes and business lines. Approximately 70% of your time will be in the office and 30% will be in the plant.

Travel is not a requirement for this role.
Education and experience
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
Solid knowledge of common engineering concepts, practices and procedures.
Previous experience such as work terms or summer experience in an engineering role within an industrial environment is an asset.
