Creating the best facilities for our associates is important. As the Director of Corporate Services, you play a key role in this through corporate and field office management and real estate management. You will plan; set goals; develop business strategies; set long- and short-range objectives; plan budget; and measure operational results against objectives. You will also implement corrective action as needed to achieve optimum operating efficiency, economy of operations and maximizing profits.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
As the Director of Corporate Services, you will oversee owned buildings, leased and subleased properties, service contracts and related activities such as property management, project management, negotiations, and all office changes including acquisitions, dispositions and relocations. Additionally, you will:
Oversee facility services such as safety, security, janitorial, and maintenance, standard operating procedures and construction management including office planning, CAD services and interior design coordination.
Oversee corporate services including, supply & fulfillment operations, , document development, archives, and corporate bulletins, and reception.
Oversee field services such as mail, supply management, reception, telecommunications and facility coordination.
Manage the development, documentation and monitoring of facility major construction and mechanical improvement projects.
Have oversight of the 24-hour maintenance and repair operations for Sentry facilities which include heating and cooling, automated control, office equipment repair, electrical functions and plumbing.
Develop and maintain compliance with hazardous waste, air pollution control and wastewater discharge regulations.
Develop strategic plans and objectives to achieve long-term and short-term company goals.
Ensure that efficient and quality customer services are provided by staff.
Develop and maintain safety programs in conformance with OSHA standards, interprets codes and standards relating to building maintenance, safety, plumbing and electrical codes.
Develop preventive maintenance programs and associated management and tracking of both equipment and vendor performance.
Perform or oversee in-depth studies of building systems and creates related management reports/analysis, cost benefit analysis, and proposals.
WHAT IT TAKES
Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience.
10 or more years of related work experience.
Masters Degree or Bachelors Degree with 10 years of related work experience, Professional Engineer preferred.
Focus in the area of real estate & facilities management, mechanical engineering, or equivalent education and experience.
Demonstrated leadership skills.
Strong administrative, organizational and communication skills.
Ability to plan and implement strategies & policies, establish objectives and procedures and manage cross functional responsibilities.
Extensive experience and knowledge of facilities management and operations.
Ability to use and interpret codes and standards relating to building maintenance, safety, plumbing and electrical and have knowledge of building control systems.
Effective interpersonal skills.
