- Mechanical Knowledge
Under the direction of the Business Development Manager – Products, the Product Design Engineer will develop and design CAD models from conceptual sketches, drawings, and features lists. CAD models will be used to advance studio concepts, communicate design intent for Marketing, and work through technical feasibility with other members from Engineering and Manufacturing. CAD model assemblies should be organized well enough to develop rapid iterative concept models to compare product features, costs, and esthetics to collaborate / communicate cross-functionally with intent to hand off final models and cost estimates for engineering to develop finalized manufacturing plans.
