This role is responsible for the safe, accurate and timely delivery of materials to lines, storage of incoming raw materials in the warehouse, loading of outbound shipments to customers, storage of finished product in the warehouse, processing inbound shipments and outbound loads, maintaining accurate inventory, housekeeping, and other related functions.

What You Will Do:
Uses various pieces of equipment (forklift, manual pallet jack, electric pallet jack, reach truck, propane lift and pallet transfer machine) to move pallets
Manually picks full-case orders and individual piece orders and stacking them onto pallets using a scanner/tablet
Ensures proper staging and identification once an order has been completely picked
Verifies quantities, quality of items and proper labeling of products that are being shipped
Pulls completed shrink-wrapped orders to the dock for LTL packers
Trailer loading of packed boxes and pallets
Examines all packaging and contents of items for conformance to customer specifications and verifies all information against the packing list and SAP
Shipping box assembly, box induction for packing, and shipping label preparation/application
Identifies items with a quantity discrepancy and promptly communicates with Supervisor
Coordinates with other departments (i.e. customer service, production, instant and small pack)
Maintains the 5S cleanliness of the picking area
Follows all safety procedures and policies
Follow all warehouse procedures and policies
Changeout propane tanks on a forklift and hookup forklift batteries on charging stations
Plant Location: Winston Salem, NC
Wage: $ 15.45 /hour (plus $0.30 shift differential)
Work Week and Shift: (mandatory overtime as needed, including weekends) 3rd Shift: Sun - Fri, 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM
High school diploma or G.E.D. required
One-year experience in plant or warehouse
Prior Experience with SAP and/or RF Scanners
Must be able to accurately perform basic mathematical calculations
Must be able to follow both written and verbal directions
Must be able to adapt to outdoor elements (i.e. cold, hot, etc.)
Must be able to pull products from high levels by using a reach truck
Must be able to work overtime and weekends on a regular basis

Must be able to pass a drug screen and physical exam
Must be able to perform all physical duties
Previous experience in a warehouse environment performing shipping and/or receiving responsibilities
Be able to properly utilize a manual pallet jack, electric pallet jack, reach lift, sit-down forklift, and/or stand-up counter-balance
A minimal level of analytical ability is required
