Our expertise is the design and manufacture of communications-based specialty products – engineered components and subsystems – for demanding military, space, commercial aerospace/industrial, and telecom infrastructure applications where function and reliability are crucial.
Transforms new and revised RF product design using CAD (Computer Aided Drafting) equipment into working layouts, detailed drawings, outline drawings, sketches and diagrams. Details include all views and dimensions necessary for manufacture. Prepares routine to complex layouts for final product design using customer and engineer-supplied data. Assists in analysis of problem areas and recommends solutions. Generates a parts list. May consultant with customers and/or outside vendors as needed to discuss design problem areas and to ensure product meets all requirements.
Solid understanding of drafting techniques and familiarity with engineering terminology. Mechanical aptitude with ability to complete basic to statistical mathematical calculations. Should possess knowledge of 2D and 3D modeling, applicable product materials and production processes. Minimum of 2-year technical school certification in drafting and math. Associates degree in Mechanical Computer-Aided Drafting or directly related job experience preferred.
Communication Skills: Has a proven track record of successfully interfacing on a regular basis with Customers as well as other departments in the organization.
