What you will do:
Focus on the design, implementation, operation, control, and optimization of an industrial process. Continue evaluation of the safety, quality, and efficiency of the process, making and implementing proposals to improve the process when needed.
How you will do it:
Develop best practices, routines and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality and safe of output.
Perform process simulations.
Manage cost and time constraints.
Perform risk assessments.
Provide process documentation and operating instructions.
Review the KPI monitoring systems and determine ways to improve their ability to maintain company operations
Create an analytical process that justifies business decisions. Capital investment pay back.
Analyze capital expenditures and project designs to help find ways to cut costs
Maintain an updated outlook on all associated business costs and deliver a quarterly report on pertinent industry trends to the management team
Developing, installing and monitoring the equipment and processes that turn raw materials into an end product.
Research and development of new equipment (this can include design responsibilities)
Monitoring of equipment – including regular testing and ensuring maintenance tasks are carried out
Completion of documentation to show and ensure compliance with both internal and external regulations and protocols
Oversight of processes and working to maintain optimization of the production line
Assisting Process Technicians in troubleshooting in the event of a problem
Data collection, interpretation and report writing
Presentation of data and reports to senior colleagues and management
Installation of new equipment
Risk assessments of the equipment and processes being used. PFMEA maintenance.
Continual evaluation of equipment and processes to ensure both efficiency and quality remain high
Use of simulation software in the development of new processes
Develop, configure and optimize industrial processes from inception through to start up and certification
Assess processes, take measurements and interpret data
Design, run, test and upgrade systems and processes
Develop best practices, routines and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output
Perform process simulations

Engineering Degree (Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, Electrical)
5 to 10 years of applicable manufacturing experience
