ACE Group is seeking an engineer looking for technical and professional challenges. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong aptitude for learning new skills and an interest in applying their existing expertise and knowledge base in new and innovative ways. The candidate will fill the role of Junior Test & Evaluation Engineer and join our team working at some of the Navy’s most advanced test facilities. The candidate will play a critical role in test preparation activities, support of test events, post-test analytical support, and participation in ongoing, organic test infrastructure & test facility capability growth. The successful candidate will be one who attacks new problem sets with enthusiasm and persistence, is an adept learner, and is able to graft new concepts and applications into their core of technical expertise while operating as part of a team.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Support full-spectrum Radio Frequency ground test events
Use Government-Off-The-Shelf (GOTS) software to develop RF emission files for use in various RF stimulation test assets
Work with customers to develop test matrices and procedures which achieve customer goals within the capabilities of the facilities
Provide engineering support to pre-test preparation and post-test analytical activities
Develop software in support of calibration activities
Provide expertise and knowledge to test infrastructure upgrade efforts
Utilize knowledge of RF energy to analyze post-test data and generate informational products for customers and leadership
Participate in test planning activities and working groups
Produce test planning artifacts & documentation in preparation for test events
Generate software tools to assist in the automated generation of informational products from raw test data
Participate in various Integrated Product Teams and Working Groups
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics or other technical field
0 – 3 years experience with electrical engineering / radio frequency concepts
Ability to create compelling, coherent briefing products; proficient in technical writing
Must work comfortably in evolving and complex environments
Must interact confidently and communicate effectively in a team environment
Must be able to effectively organize, schedule and coordinate work phases and tasks
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
