We are currently seeking a R&D Staff Test Equipment Engineer - located in Portage, Michigan.

What You Will Do:
As a R&D Staff Test Equipment Engineer, you will develop Graphical User Interface (GUI) software applications for use by Test Engineers and Test Technicians to allow them to perform investigative, verification and simulated use testing on Stryker products.
You will design, implement, and test software modules, and perform associated software development tasks (configuration management, issue/bug tracking, and risk management)
You will support the development of setting requirements and working with software application team on development of GUI applications
You will lead code reviews for systems applying design principals, coding standards and best practices
You will work with software tools to develop and distribute code such as SVN, JIRA, Jenkins, Mercurial, Git and VM.
You will Interact with Test Engineers to support requirements generation and validation
You will work cross functionally with multiple technical experts and internal/external training to further develop your SW development skills and better understand the needs of the Test Lab
You will participate in the greater Stryker software community to continually improve the way we work
What You Need:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field
4+ years of work experience
Experience in developing software in a team environment
Experience with software communication protocols/standards such as RESTful, TCP, UDP, JSON, Serial is desirable
Work From Home: Occasional
Travel Percentage: 10%
