Our Mechanical Team designs HVAC and plumbing systems with a focus on user comfort, efficiency, conservation, and reliability. The Senior Mechanical Engineer may serve as the Engineer of Record on multi-discipline projects or the Project Manager on mechanical prime projects, will oversee the creation of all project documents.
The Senior Mechanical Engineer must have proven leadership skills in project management. He/she will be responsible for coordinating with internal and external consultants, scheduling manpower assignments, managing project financials, and client relationship management.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Leadership and independent judgment in the management of mechanical engineering tasks including mechanical engineering/design (plumbing/HVAC), project management and other project level functions.
Highly proficient in all aspects of Mechanical Engineering including HVAC & Plumbing system design.
Proven leadership skills in project management, such as coordinating manpower assignments and managing project financials.
In-depth knowledge of the mechanical building industry, codes and standards.
Ability to foster an excellent working relationship with existing and new clients.
Current registration as a Mechanical Engineer in California, or the ability to obtain California registration within 6 months
Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME), or equivalent work experience. Master's degree is acceptable but not required.
10+ years of experience as a Professional Mechanical Engineer.
Previous project management experience.
