PLANNER/ SCHEDULER

The primary purpose of the T/A planner/ scheduler shall be to develop an accurate schedule and plan of execution for T/A. The planner will

work with operations to develop a unit work item excel list and develop a schedule following the operations supplied shut down process.

The planner will monitor and update the schedule during T/A to determine and correct any possible delays or impacts to the schedules critical

path. All T/A schedules and planning shall be continuous for all units during the yearly rotation.

Additional task for T/A Planner/ Scheduler:

1)

Develop pre-turnaround milestones with operations.

2)

Determine required manpower for execution.

3)

Create complete scaffold list for T/A and submit to supervisor and central shop for tracking and pre-turnaround erecting.

4)

Discovery work tracking and review.

5)

PIC book development with field coordinators.

6)

Develop tracking systems for equipment stages of completion and signoffs.

7)

Assign contractor work schedules.

8)

Daily progress reports, updates and meeting minutes for daily T/A meetings.

9)

Develop progress reports and S-curves for T/A projects.

10)

Track and report on project estimated start dates and durations against actual start dates and durations.

11)

Liaises with operations to define project scope of work and work items list.

12)

Attends/ chairs all preparation meetings for t/a.

13)

Plans all major task.

14)

Resolves planning issues.

15)

Enter task planning sheets to schedule after field walk down.

16)

Check completed planning sheets from supervisor.

17)

Develop turnaround schedules for PP1, PE1, LL, PP2, PE2, LDPE, PE3, PP3

18)

Create and optimize t/a execution plan.

19)

Develop daily scope of work sheets for supervisor during T/A.

20)

Assist with bid package preparation from the schedule

21)

Work with the Operations group in the units to execute turnarounds per the guidelines of the turnaround Management process;

22)

Preparation of next T/A work items excel list.

23)

Any other duties assigned by manager.

FIELD COORDINATOR

The primary purpose of the T/A field coordinator is to assist in job package development, execute field task, field inspections,

and direct contractors for T/A projects.

Additional task for Field Coordinator:

1)

Compile drawings and material list per job items assigned by supervisor.

2)

Define job steps and equipment required to complete task. (Scaffold, insulation, welding etc.)

3)

Identify and tag all jobs in field.

4)

Mark up PID and ISOs for bid packages.

5)

Fill out planning sheets for task.

6)

Contractor walk downs for bidding and project execution.

7)

Assist engineer, planner and supervisor with clarifications for bids.

8)

Attend Pre-con and T/A meetings as needed.

9)

Review contractor safety performance in field.

10)

Permitting assistance for contractors daily.

11)

Daily job planning - Determine next job task and set up for execution a shift in advance.

12)

Daily manpower monitoring.

13)

Progress tracking and updates.

14)

Material handling, inspection and issuing.

15)

Address THM with contractors as needed.

16)

Direct decon for material related to assigned task.

17)

Verify added work and change orders are changes to original scope and document in field.

18)

Manage delays of work.

19)

Inspection and sign off of equipment related to assigned task.

20)

NDE tracking and completion review and filing.

21)

PSSR preparation and documentation. Field punch list development and completion.

22)

Identify PSSR deviations and exceptions. Follow up completion post T/A.

23)

Supply equipment as needed to contractors.

24)

Gather basic data for planning.

25)

Produce task sheets for supervisor.

26)

Collates all required drawings and documentation for assigned task to be used in bid package preparation.

27)

Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $55.00 - $70.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Freeport, TX: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
