Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented Systems Engineer to join our team in the Chantilly, VA area to provide unparalleled support to our internal organization and to begin an exciting and rewarding career within ManTech. This position involves supporting operational elements by providing research and analysis for the client.
Bachelor degree in STEM (science, technical, engineering, math) discipline
2+ years of related experience
Good working knowledge of MS Office applications
Aptitude for on-site Systems Engineering and Technical Advisor (SETA) work
Effective interpersonal skills and strong briefing and writing skills
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic, and energetic environment
Experience with system engineering requirements management processes
Understanding of change management and schedule management principles and practices
Experience with database inputs, updates and configuration control
Advanced degree in STEM Discipline
Qualifications and familiarity with systems engineering
Experience with IC organizations
Prior US military experience • Experience with IBM Rational Tool Suite (RTS) and/or Rational DOORS Next Generation (RDNG)
Understanding of NRO/SED Request for Change (RFC) packages and Engineering Review Board (ERB) processes
Experience conducting requirements and Concept of Operations (CONOPS) development and management Requires Bachelor’s degree (in Computer Science, Math, Electrical Engineering or related field) or equivalent, and two to four years of related experience.
Security requirements: An active TS/SCI with Polygraph
Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time
Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer
