Intrados’ Global Technology Services (GTS) team is looking for an experienced Implementation Engineer to join the Network and Telecom Services division of Intrado at our Intrado Safety Services site in Longmont, CO. The role will focus technical diligence, product & technology integration planning, and integration implementation. We are seeking an individual who is a self-starter but can also work in a collaborative environment and possesses strong communication and technical skills.
Additional core functions include:
Responsible for implementing, maintaining and updating new and existing Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) network builds and configurations ensuring conformance to requirements
Maintain equipment builds including adding configurations for egress and ingress call flow
Collaborate with department contacts and appropriate customers in recommendations with system enhancements and specific customer deployments
Generate and provide analysis on monthly network element capacity reports for equipment that support the E9-1-1 voice and peering networks
The ideal candidate is someone who can:
Demonstrate the ability to communicate technical concepts to others across all levels of the business
Clearly and effectively communicate across all mediums (e.g. email, conference calls, in person, written documentation, etc.)
Demonstrate the ability to translate end user problem statements into actionable solutions while upholding company standards and policies
Demonstrate the ability to act independently while working with remote hands at a customer site

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in computer engineering, telecommunications engineering, or a related field required
Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirements
Minimum 3 – 5 years experience in technical support, network planning, TP Telephony, or networking required
Intermediate experience in TDM (DS3/DS1/DS0/SS7/PRI/CAS)
Basic experience in SIP/MGCP/H.248
Experience with alarming AIS, LOF, LOS
Experience with MS Office products
Experience with testing and turning up circuits
Experience with communicating clearly with other carriers
Able to work with team mates and can meet deadline
