Bachelor/ Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field
5+ years of experience in Engineering, Automotive Engineering or related field
Utilize Catia V5, PRO-E, VPM, E3D, CADCAM, Autocad, GD&T, NC Routing to Design product lines; perform engineering design & drawing quality check; responsibilities include quality improvement, cost reduction and other efficiency improvement initiatives; provide engineering support by creating work instructions to help the install; plan the part design and testing based on the program and manufacturing requirements; work on technical publications creating the illustrations using Corel Draw; prepare test plans, reports and other necessary documents in support of certification and compliance with manufacturer requirements; support testing activities in the test laboratory & support test article conformity activities, as required. Communicate with engineer and customer regarding certification issues; participate in Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis & Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis.
