Full Stack Engineer
KORTX is revolutionizing the role of digital marketing partner by developing advanced technology solutions to improve client engagement, automate complex business processes, and accelerate marketing’s time value. We’re aggressively building a team to help KORTX deliver on the vision of becoming the marketing operating system for modern advertisers. We are looking for team members who are comfortable moving fast and taking calculated risks with industry leading technologies. As a Full Stack Engineer, you will report to the Director of Engineering.
What We're Looking For
3+ years in Java or another object oriented language
3+ years using ReactJs or similar framework
Experience in AWS or similar cloud infrastructure is not required but would be a solid skill to bring to the team
Experience with Docker and or Linux
Experience with Git or a similar version control system
Ability to build reusable components and libraries for front-end and back- end functions
Understanding of REST APIs
Quality-focused, with a software development style that allows for well documented, clean code
Comfortable leading research and fact finding to modify, develop, implement and maintain complex company applications
Experience estimating new software features with the information provided at the time of the request, and the ability to independently plan and accomplish tasks with proper time management
Fluent in interacting with a project management tool such as Jira
Motivated, self-starter, results-oriented team player willing to do “whatever it takes” in a dynamic and stimulating environment
Willingness to learn and grow through deliberate study and practice (a “growth-based” mindset). The tech industry changes at a rapid pace and we need developers that can pick up new skills quickly
What You'll Be Responsible For
On an average day, you will implement requirements through writing readable and maintainable code that meets acceptance criteria, writing project documentation, and collaborating with other roles to create intuitive, performant, and accessible user experience. You will work with the Product Manager as well as Director of Engineering to understand project goals, communicate progress towards those goals, and communicate roadblocks. Many days, you will provide technical support and feedback to fellow team members in a way that’s conducive to their growth as well as to the success of the project delivery. At the beginning of each development cycle, you will also participate in team ceremonies, where you will work with the team to break down, refine, and estimate requirements, as well as identify any dependencies. Each day you will meet up with your team for a Daily Standup and of course there is always Slack for quick communication throughout the day.

KORTX Hub – An ambitious project seeking to revolutionize how brands and agencies work with marketing partners. This project will serve as the foundation for the next phase of KORTX growth!
KORTX Analytics – Help build a best-in-class marketing analytics solutions transforming raw data to actionable insights in days not months
KORTX Audience Manager – Deliver relevant messaging to customers on the open web and within walled gardens by utilizing stream data analytics, rules-based segmentation and machine learning
