What you will do:
Perform tasks as related to the service delivery of critical enterprise storage environments and is responsible for Tier 3, complex problem resolution.
Establishes information backup and restoral policies and ensures compliancy with Disaster Recovery requirements.
Responsible for the administration and support of storage arrays and storage switches.
Monitoring and reporting on storage health and performance, capacity management and planning creation and management of backup policies, and verification of daily backups.
What we require:
A Bachelor's degree in a computer related field and two years of experience is required. 7 years of related experience, or an Associate's degree and 2 years related experience, may be substituted for required education/experience.
Professional certifications from one of the following preferred: EMC Storage Technologist (EMCST), EMC Storage Administrator (EMCSA), EMC Technology Architect (EMCTA) or EMC Platform Engineer (EMCPE) or comparable IBM platform certification and / or Tivoli Storage Manager certification.
