Be a part of the global team that works with Product Development to systematically identify and prevent design quality issues before production release. Support and work with various engineering groups to proactively mitigate risks, as well as gain exposure to the world of Engineering Quality.
Prepare Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) plans
Moderate DFMEAs to identify risks
Complete DFMEA reports
Update monthly project reporting
Support Functional Safety activities as needed
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field from an accredited university/college with 3+ years of related experience required
An attached resume is required
Heavy equipment / automotive industry experience required
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
Strong organizational skills required
Proficiency with MS Office and data mining techniques required
Knowledge and practical experience with FMEAs preferred
Experience leading technical teams to accomplish defined goals preferred
Proficiency with IQ-FMEA and STARS/DOORS preferred
Familiarity with quality tools and problem solving methods preferred
