Salary Range: $80,000 - $95,000 DOE

The Application Developer responsibilities include enhancing, designing and building custom and ad-hoc applications and solutions that support the electronic delivery channels of the credit union, including online banking and in-house custom applications. This position leverages HFCU resources and systems to provide enhanced member service delivery options and improve efficiencies for credit union department and staff. The Developer will utilize publicly available software, as well as, software development kits (SDK’s) from vendors to enhance the member and user experience in support of credit union goals and objectives.
This position requires excellent communication, technical and project management skills. This position will support the goals and objectives of the IT department by assisting HFCU and IT employees, as well as, all impacted departments.
Familiarity with integrating off the shelf solutions and custom development projects
Ability to demonstrate good coding practices and standards and share that with team.
Understanding of relational databases.
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Math or related major, or equivalent work experience
