Maintenance engineering plays a vital role in the efficiency, development and progress of the plants. They will work with production and engineering in order to improve production, reduce the incidence of costly breakdowns and develop strategies to improve overall reliability and safety of plant, personnel and production processes. The mechanical maintenance engineer is the one who is responsible for ensuring mechanical elements run smoothly and efficiently. The engineer has the duty to evaluate the machines and machine components to test the efficiency. He or she is responsible for suggesting improvements of machines for better performance.
5+ years demonstrated experience in Industrial plant experience. Demonstrated ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines and manage projects. Must be able to show initiative and be a 'self-starter' to achieve working goals. Must possess excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills. Ensure compliance with Process Safety Management and other regulatory requirements. Provide process design support for new projects. Evaluate the condition of machines to diagnose the problems.
Writing maintenance strategies to help with installation and commissioning of equipment.
Prepare the estimations for maintenance work and/or projects such as purchase of new spare parts.
Update and upgrade machinery with the latest developments in the field.
Creating and maintaining maintenance procedures.
Maintaining statistical and financial records.
Arranging specialist procurement of fixtures, fittings or components.
Conducting RCA’s for mechanical failures.

Bachelor's Degree from 4 year college or university
Preferred experience with PSM,API 510 Certification-Pressure Vessel Inspection Code,API 570 Certification-Pipe, Inspection Code, API 653-Certified Tank Inspection, Repair, Alteration, and Reconstruction Code, CWI certification
