The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is recruiting postdoctoral scientists and engineers to join an interdisciplinary team developing a new spectroscopy for intermolecular interactions. The team anticipates the need for physical scientists or engineers in the area of molecular dynamics and density functional theory simulations of fluids and interfaces.
The positions are located at the Boulder, CO and Gaithersburg, MD campuses of NIST and a PhD in a related field is highly recommended. The identified candidate may perform work as a physicist, chemist, chemical engineer, material scientist, electronics engineer or similar. Prior experience relevant to the technical area is required. More detailed project descriptions are posted here: https://www.nist.gov/programs-projects/electric-acoustic-spectroscopy-intermolecular-interactions-solution.
Interested applicants should send their resume or CV and a cover letter to Dr. Schwarz (kas4 at nist dot gov). Review of applications will be ongoing until all positions are filled.
