JOM Pharmaceutical Services Inc, a Johnson & Johnson Company, is currently recruiting for a Senior Facilities Engineer, located in Shepherdsville, KY to support facilities related maintenance, projects, and operations, at the Kentucky Distribution Center (KDC).

As the Facilities Engineer you are the authority for the facilities equipment at KDC. Working daily with peers, supervisors, engineers, and outside resources you will support distribution operations, recognize areas for opportunity, and drive continuous improvement. You will plan and oversee in the completion of maintenance task for all building related equipment.
You will also lead projects by collaborating with Operations, Maintenance, Safety, and IT for purchasing and installing new equipment in line with long term strategy. Partnering with contractors, as necessary, you will drive project management in your area of responsibility and provide written and verbal communication such as status reports, progress reports and documentation, to business partners and leadership.
Organize, manage and oversee Engineering and Technical projects relating to JOM as advised by management; lead the development of assigned engineering projects.
Coordinate high level project activities and maintain accountability for overall project success; develop project plans, timelines and resource requirements; facilitate multi-functional teams to achieve project goals; collaborate with all of the necessary organizations (Facilities, Safety, Operations, IT, Suppliers, as well as others) to provide for design support, agreement and implementation; adhere to Environmental policy and procedures and support department environmental objectives.
Will be a SME for all stages of project management for in-house material equipment upgrades and major outsourced projects as necessary. Also maintain compliance and audit readiness for work order management, detailed design specifications, electrical schematics, and change management documentation.
Assist with planning, coordinating, and carrying out maintenance tasks for all building or material handling equipment. The individual will be responsible for scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of facilities equipment.
Facilitate work order management and parts inventory using Computerized Maintenance Management Software (CMMS).
Work daily with peers, supervisors, engineers, and outside resources to support operations, recognize areas for opportunity, and drive continuous improvement.
Conduct and document equipment audits to recognize areas for scheduled repair, improvements, upgrades, or equipment obsolescence/replacement. Also maintain constant communication to provide department updates to all levels of management and other functional departments.
Qualifications - External
Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) is required.
3-5 years of experience in facilities and maintenance related technology, IT, GxP compliance processes, EHS, experience with CFR Part 11 Compliance, and other regulatory standards is required.
A Minimum of Six (6) years overall business experience is required
Strong collaboration, analytical, and problem solving skills, ability to influence without authority, and customer-centric mindset are required.
Strategic sourcing and negotiations experience (including contracts) is helpful.
Demonstrable ability to think strategically and implement approved strategies to drive value for J&J businesses.
Strong Microsoft Project Management skills are preferred.
Proficient in English (written and oral)
Be able to lift at least 50 lbs. on a repetitive basis, stand and walk on concrete floors 95% of the time, bend/twist, perform repetitive tasks, and work in a refrigerated environment at 2 to 8 C (35 to 46 F) for 2 hours, or more, at a time.
Demonstrated ability to use all job-related equipment is required.
Requires up to 5% domestic travel with other sites as needed.
