If so, the Big Tac team is looking for a Software Engineer to be part of a dynamic team that models the constructive environments in support of Training Systems for several fixed wing fighter programs. Engineers on this team are responsible for all phases of the modeling lifecycle including derived requirements, architecture, design, implementation and test. This includes the tools and applications associated with the planning, operating, monitoring and controlling of a real time constructive forces simulation. They are also directly involved in planning their own work as part of the agile methodology, with a focus on technical excellence and customer satisfaction. Current software skills are desired as the suite of applications this group is responsible for is varied across many software languages. The candidate should be willing and able and able to work long periods without day to day interactions with the rest of the team as this will be a remote development position. This candidate will assist other members of the development team in the performance of day-to-day operations in a fast-paced agile development environment. Occasional domestic travel may be required to interface with the home team.
This position requires an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.).
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):
Bachelor Degree or higher in engineering, computer science, mathematics or physics. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):
Knowledge of languages such as C, C++, C#, or Fortran
Occasional travel may be required.
