EXTEND YOUR POTENTIAL IN A GLOBAL TEAM OF EXPERTS
As a Marine Structural Engineer, you will join our global team of experts and you will report to the Head of Section. You will be responsible for providing high-level technical support to various marine and waterfront projects. You will also be required to prepare construction documents, executes marine structural duties, and interface with specialists in other disciplines such as geotechnical and coastal engineering.
On a day-to-day basis, you will require to -
Perform tasks on projects requiring a broad and/or deep knowledge in the field of structural engineering and marine infrastructure
Perform tasks in the field of structural analysis and design; including but not limited to reinforced and pre-stressed concrete design, steel design and timber design
Implement design best practices in areas of expertise, in addition, ensures conformance with all applicable codes, standards, and client requirements
Perform and reviews calculations for analysis
Prepare construction documents
Perform/oversee construction administration activities
Provide leadership and guidance to junior engineers
Perform site inspections and prepares associated observation report(s) as required
Prepare written reports and documents
Generate deliverables within allotted schedule and budget; and
Perform other duties as required.

To succeed in this position, we believe that you should possess excellent written and verbal English communication skills with experience in client interaction and communication
Furthermore, you should have:
B.Sc. or higher in Civil or Structural Engineering; MS degree preferred
5 - 10 years previous related project-based engineering with an emphasis on the waterfront and coastal design, construction, maintenance, and rehabilitation
Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain
Self-motivated, flexible, and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Strong interpersonal, organizational and time management skills
Ability and willingness to travel (fieldwork required, especially in New York City area)
Strong time management skills
Excellent relationship-building skills
Ability to continuously stand or walk, bend, squat, climb stairs/ladders and lift frequently; and
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
