Perform engineering duties in designing and developing medical devices. A successful candidate must be familiar with engineering concepts, product and feature testing in a lab environment, engineering principles, ability to prepare reports and protocols and perform routine engineering related action under supervision.
Has an understanding of good design principles. A degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Carries out engineering assignments that are broad in nature and require appreciable originality and ingenuity.
Evaluates, selects and applies standard engineering techniques and procedures using judgment to solve difficult technical challenges.
Plans and performs engineering assignments, including responsibility for the engineering of part of a major project or project management responsibility for a minor project.
Conducts each assignment based on broad team input and customer needs.
Accept engineering assignments that are broad in nature, and require further definition (usually requiring appreciable originality and ingenuity)
Translate, develop and document engineering specifications based on voice of the customer input.
Experience: 0-3 years' experience as an R&D Engineer
Education: B.S. in Engineering or equivalent, preferably Mechanical or Biomedical engineering.

Be able to conduct root-cause investigation
Be able to write and execute testing requirements.
Be able to create and check design specifications and drawings in SolidWorks.
Proficient in Computer Aided Design and office software applications.
Able to organize tasks to match specified priority
