The Global Audit & Assurance Learning (GAAL) team has responsibility for development and delivery of learning and development solutions to the Audit & Assurance service line throughout the network of DTTL member firms. Team members are based in various offices throughout the Deloitte network, with a core of 15 permanent team members, and an extended team of up to approximately 30 individuals working on projects at any time.
Deloitte Omnia is a cloudbased, digital solution that supports engagement teams in delivering a high quality and differentiated audit experience for our Tier 1–3 engagements. Deloitte Omnia is continuously evolving to incorporate ongoing innovations and to be responsive to client needs and regulatory developments. It represents a leap forward in our digital transformation as it provides the platform to seamlessly embed additional automation and analytics across our audit processes, allowing us to provide deeper insights to clients. Broad deployment of Deloitte Omnia is underway in Deloitte US and limited deployment has commenced for Deloitte Asia Pacific, Deloitte Canada, Deloitte DCE, and Deloitte NSE. Further global deployment will begin in 2022.
GAAL is seeking is currently seeking an auditor to join the team designing and developing leading-edge learning solutions in support of the global deployment of the Deloitte Omnia platform across the Audit & Assurance business. This assignment offers significant development and professional enrichment opportunities, including the chance to work as part of a diverse, cross-functional and cross-cultural team. The role will provide the opportunity to develop both audit technical capabilities (in particular deep knowledge and exposure to the Deloitte Omnia platform), alongside learning and development skills and further develop your professional network.
The role will report into the Transformation Learning Portfolio Lead, as part of the wider Transformation learning team.
Auditors on secondment to GAAL return to their member firms prepared to leverage their newly acquired network, utilize their new knowledge, and build on their skills to advance their careers and to assist their member firms.
As a Learning Developer working on the Deloitte Omnia portfolio you will have key responsibilities and specific goals in the following areas:
Own the design and development of specific learning content within the Deloitte Omnia portfolio
Support maintenance and updates to the Deloitte Omnia by proactively determining needs, and assessing the impact of external and internal changes on existing Deloitte Omnia content
Work with Deloitte Omnia Subject Matter Experts on new learning content development, refreshes or transformations of existing Deloitte Omnia content to build technical knowledge
Contribute to and execute alternative approaches to Deloitte Omnia development when needed
Develop points of view on opportunities, formal and informal, to further build Deloitte Omnia capabilities
Facilitate reviews of the Deloitte Omnia learning portfolio to identify gaps and focus areas
Participate in resource and workload planning to deliver the Deloitte Omnia learning plans
Liaison to Technical Reviewers
Build relationships with Deloitte Omnia Subject Matter Experts and Technical Reviewers
Work collaboratively with Deloitte Omnia Subject Matter Experts and Technical Reviewers and Learning Leadership towards shared goals
(SMEs and Technical Reviewers are typically senior individuals at partner or director level working within a National Office environment in a Deloitte member firm.)
Provide input to other strategic initiatives, including exploration of leading-edge development tools and techniques

Audit and Assurance functional knowledge; strong understanding of the Deloitte audit approach, audit tools and technology
Audit client service experience of delivery of Tier 1 to 3 Audit Engagements
Extensive experience of working in the EMS audit platform
Experience in one or more industries
Solid technical and writing skills
Ability to research, appropriately summarize and apply auditing and IFRS accounting standards, Deloitte methodology and guidance and related content
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Ability to effectively collaborate with both peers and leadership in a virtual environment
Composure in working with senior leaders
Strong English communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation).
Strong attention to detail and ability to self-review
Solid foundation in project management skills to balance multiple deliverables and meet deadlines
Self-motivated; proactive; ability to manage own time in a virtual team environment
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to apply guidance provided by our learning team to provide insight on what might work best for learning knowledge transfer to our professionals
Willingness to travel globally if needed.
Hands on experience using Omnia desirable
Experience working in a cross cultural work environment desirable
Facilitation experience, including completion of a facilitator training program (e.g., DFX) desirable
Learning development experience desirable
