Must be able to read plans, interpret specifications and contracts, work within time restraints and meet deadlines. Must be available to work onsite or in field office during construction (hours will vary according to activity (40-50 hours weekly average).
A construction project engineer with 3 years of experience in vertical construction. Federal government experience is a plus. Candidate should be versed in all standard computer applications. Salary will be based upon experience.
Assisting the Quality Control System Manager to perform basic project control functions such as scheduling, reporting, material management, procurement support, site quality control, contract support and other duties as required.
Other duties may include but are not limited to:
Purchase order writing, processing change orders, scope development, assisting with the material submittal process and coordination of deliveries. Maintenance of contract documents, obtaining and researching resolutions to contractual issues, monitor and log “Requests for Information”, coordinate and assemble change orders. May be called upon to assist the Field Superintendent in scheduling, coordinating and overseeing daily work activities of the subcontractors, and perform daily inspection of installed work for document compliance.
